Why is it that Christians are accused of proselytism, but other groups aren't?

It's the Evangelical Christians who have mutated their faith into a political party that are proselytizing in political ways - they're not seeking heaven, they want theocracy and mandatory compliance with their view of scripture. Evolution's "side of the fence" is known as mainstream science."
